Michael Anthony Perez is an award-winning photojournalist whose career had taken root at the Philadelphia Inquirer. His coverage ranges from local stories to international news, several of which were Pulitzer Prize nominees as well as Pennsylvania and New Jersey Journalism awardees. His work in sports can be found in the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame as well as in the best-selling world series book, Champions: A look Back at the Phillies' Triumphant 2008 season.
Michael's photographs are currently published all over the world, including National Geographic that ran his exclusive photo series on the first man to complete the Appalachian trail. His photos have also appeared in Sports Illustrated, US News & World Report, New York Times, Washington Post, and News Photographer to name a few.

Michael lives and works in downtown Philadelphia.
